In 2018 we were blessed to become parents through the beautiful gift of adoption. It was then that I knew I had to take my hobby to the next level so that I could capture great photos of him growing up. That is when I started formally educating myself. I have completed a mentorship and have taken several photography courses over the last couple of years, and have been so blessed to have so many friends and family that have let me do sessions with them. I love shooting outdoors in natural light and my goal is to capture candid, authentic moments full of joy, laughter, and love!

So here we are, and I have decided to take a leap of faith and start this little dream of mine. I remember my very first Cabbage Patch Kids film camera that I had as a little girl, all the disposable cameras I would carry around in high school and college, always ready to capture and preserve memories. I was the friend (and still am!) that always annoyed my friends and family by making them stop for every photo op!

I married my husband in 2007, and while I had several cameras, I didn’t get my first DSLR until 2013. I loved my camera and took it on every vacation and adventure we went on, and for years I dreamed of starting my own photography business one day.
